Non-Small Cell Lung Cancer (NSCLC)
1. An Open Label, Randomized, Phase
II study to Determine Hemoglobin Dose Response Patients with
Stage IIIB and IV Non-Small Cell Lung Cancer
Target Patient Population:
· Patients with Stage IIIB or IV NSCLC who are receiving
chemotherapy treatment
· Patients must be receiving first or second line chemotherapy
treatment
· Patients must have at least 12 weeks of chemotherapy
remaining
· Patient must be anemic
Patients who are already receiving
treatment for their lung cancer and become anemic would be
randomized to one of two treatment groups. One group receives
treatment every week and the other group received treatment
every 3 weeks. All patients receive treatment for their anemia.
The drug is a new agent that is not approved by the FDA. .
This is an open label study, therefore all patients will know
which group they have been assigned.

2. A Phase II Ramdomized Study Comparing
2 Combinations of Chemotherapy, With or Without a Study Medication
Target Patient Population:
· Patients with relapse Non-Small Cell Lung Cancer
(NSCLC)
· Patients must have received one prior chemotherapy
treatment
· Patients must have stage IIIB or IV disease
Patients will be randomized to receive
one of 2 standard chemotherapy treatments. Each treatment
group will also be randomized to either receive study medication
or no study medication. This is an open label study, therefore
all patients will know which group they have been assigned.

3. An Open Label Study Using Chemotherapy
Plus Radiation Therapy Followed by Additional Chemotherapy
Target Patient Population:
· Patients must have stage IIIA or IIIB Non-Small Cell
Lung Cancer
· Patients must be previously untreated with Chemotherapy
or radiation therapy
· Patients must be eligible for radiation therapy as
defined by his or her physician
Patient will receive one of 2 different doses of chemotherapy
in addition to radiation therapy. The radiation therapy will
be followed by an additional 3 cycles of chemotherapy.

Small Cell Lung Cancer
1. An Open Label Study Comparing
Two Different Standard Chemotherapy Regimens combined with
a Novel New Chemotherapy Agent in Patients with Small Cell
Lung Cancer
Target Patient Population:
· Patients must have extensive small cell lung cancer
at diagnosis
· Patients must be previously untreated with chemotherapy
All patients will receive the study drug (which is an anti-folate
metabolite) with one of two chemotherapies.
