Since 1990, SDCC developed into one of the leading centers for comprehensive cancer treatment centers based in Southern California. The dedication of SDCC to the state-of-the-art healing center has been multiply recognized by the community awards like: Health Care Champion Award (San Diego Business Journal, 2008), feature in U.S. News and World Report (April 2007); 10News Leadership Award (Channel 10 News, San Diego, 2006).
SDCC currently has two campuses, one in Encinitas and in one in Vista. Our new building in Encinitas, in addition to SDCC, houses community imaging center as well as UCSD’s radiation oncology. The availability of these facilities within the same building alleviates North County patients from difficult commutes during their treatments and is just one more aspect of our dedication to optimize the process of healing.
